Region Manual and Discovery Journals:

A 2-night minimum trip, beginning in Fort Worth, Texas, with the ability to travel for 1 week, averaging 200 miles.  Our shortest mileage round trip yet! 

Trip highlights include Cleburne State Park, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Mineral Wells State Park, The Brazos River Float, Fossil Rim – along with so much more!  

Education highlights include Texas Energy Types, Vegetation Regions, Water Cycles and Rivers, Economy, Cattle and Cowboys, Prehistoric Texas, along with more than 20 lessons! 

Adventures highlights include horseback riding, river floating, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, safaris, dinosaur track hunting – and more.

Any season will accommodate travelers, but mid-winter would limit some water activities! This is our first trip made for a weekend warrior or a week! 

A perfect long weekend for couples or a girls weekend, along with a family getaway!
